Energy Healing in the News

I was trying to find mainstream news about the wonderful healing work that goes on around the world with energy healing. However, it wasn’t as easy as I would have hoped. However, I did stumble upon a few articles.

In one article, “The Science of Energy Healing”, by Dr. Amir Farid Isahak, recounted the results from a study, and implored that more studies be conducted on alternative therapies. Dr. Isahak stated, “Science has no problems recognizing that plants and herbs have medicinal value because they contain nutrients and natural chemicals that may heal the body. However, when it comes to recognizing that the human hands can emit energy that heals, science has a problem accepting this, as nothing in science thus far indicates that it can or should happen…”. He also pointed out the lack of interest from the scientific community on seeing clinical studies carried out.

While we wait for the funding that supports scientific studies to catch up with the phenomenon of energy healing, anecdotal studies are being conducted around the world by small groups of healers.

What are your experiences with energy healing? Share your stories with us and our readers…

Did you know…?

Neurons continue to grow throughout human life. For years, scientists and doctors thought that brain and neural tissue couldn’t grow or regenerate. While it doesn’t act in the same manner as tissues in many other parts of the body, neurons can and do grow throughout your life, adding a whole new dimension to the study of the brain and the illnesses that affect it.

How about this question: What is the smallest thing you can name? If you think it’s the atom you have been influenced by the ancient Greeks who came up with this idea. They thought that the atom was the smallest “building block” that combines to make up all things in the universe. However, once again, as years went by, scientists learned that even the tiny atom is made up of even smaller parts.

Following this discovery came the understanding that, running around the outside of the atom are the electrons and the flow of these negative charges is the source of electricity. We do not “make” or “create” electricity. Energy can never be created or destroyed. And what’s more, your body is a field of energy within another field of energy.

What else do doctors and scientists “know” these days that will be proven differently as we come to understand the body (and the universe) better?

Act in spite of…

Good health is a habit.

“It takes 30 days for a change in behavior to become a habit, and six months for a habit to become the automatic way a person does things, … If they haven’t changed in 30 days, it’s not happening.”
— Mark Goulston

Habits are funny things. At first they seem not so easy to make. And then there are others that seem impossible to break. You know what I mean. Making new good habits like working out, eating healthy, going to bed at a more reasonable hour. Sounds so simple, yet after a week or so, I find the tendency to let them slip. And then changing the old (shall we say bad) habits, how come they seem so challenging to break?

So what can you do? Well, some studies show that it can take anywhere from 30 days to 6 months to change your behaviors (habits) either adding new good ones or eliminating the bad ones. So that means keeping at it until you make it over that hurdle. Often, when you do something especially when your mind and
body is fighting against your better direction, it solidifies the change process.

So, choose an action today that challenges you and moves you forward. Take that action today, in spite of any negative feelings or what your mind might tell you. Write it down first thing in the morning and at the end of the day, write down the feelings that came with accomplishing the action and how it has helped you grow.

Sneak peak interview

We are in the middle of editing the upcoming instructional DVD for EnergyLinkHealing.com and thought we would share an interview section on the side effects of energy healing. Take a look on You Tube.

“Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it.” — Tori Amos

Healing on many levels is about accepting change. So the question goes, “Are you willing to change?”

If you are willing, then you can create the healing you say you want. All you have to do is change some thoughts and release some beliefs. It sounds simple. However, it’s not always that easy.

Two tools to help on this path of healing and change are meditation and prayer. Some use these terms separately. Some use them as one. It doesn’t matter. Do whichever or both as you feel comfortable.

Meditation and/or prayer is best done daily. Find a quiet time of the day where you can find comfortable (but not too comfortable… no falling asleep!) place to relax and separate from you daily thoughts and stresses. There are many different methods to meditate or pray, but at the core of each is the goal to focus and eventually quiet your mind.

In this place of quiet, it is important to realize that the subconscious mind accepts whatever we choose to believe. Joyous self-acceptance and approval in this state of mind are the keys to positive change in every area of your life. Including your health.

Give your immune system a boost with these simple tips:

Fill your plate with fruits and vegetables - The vitamins (especially A and C) and the phytochemicals that lend fruits and vegetables their colors serve as antioxidants that promote immune function.

Choose lean protein sources - The amino acids that are found in protein form the building blocks of all the body’s cells — including the cells that power your immune system.

Focus on healthful fats - High-fat diets appear to impair the immune system by decreasing the function of T-lymphocytes. Reducing fat, on the other hand, can boost immune function by enhancing T-lymphocyte function. However, the type of fat you consume is equally important as the amount. Trans fats (found in margarines and many commercial baked goods) can contribute to chronic low-grade inflammation in the body.

Make time for tea - Green tea is a rich source of a type of antioxidant called a catechin, and preliminary research has found that a specific catechin — epigallocatechin gallate (egcg) — may give the beverage antigen-fighting abilities.

Take the one supplement that works - A whole food supplement is well worth taking.

Consume friendly bacteria - A yogurt or kefir drink per day might help keep infections at bay.

Exercise - The immune system’s cells don’t function normally when a person is overweight or has high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides.

Maintain a proper energy balance - Practice energy link healing daily on yourself along with daily meditation.

Until you have a very personal reason to look beyond traditional medical advice, many would never have considered receiving an energy healing session, let alone learn how to do energy healing themselves! So why learn?

A big part of the popularity of energy link healing is due to the ease with which anyone can learn enough to help themselves, their friends and their family to feel better with simple techniques.

It is possible to take an introductory course and begin using the techniques at home immediately to pick up your energy and your mood, to help your spouse sleep better, or your father’s sore back. Energy work can be used to shift emotional and physical problems that seem stuck, in unprecedented ways, and although some people “take” to energy work more easily than others, almost anyone can learn to do it.

I have a list that’s too long to fully cover on personal stories that proved to me unconditionally that energy link healing works. From my uncle’s back that the doctor’s said he would have to live with pain killers for the rest of his life, to my daughter’s bee sting cooled to non-existent in minutes, to “life-long” migraine headaches eased away for years.

All done simply by learning a few simple techniques and believing I could help.

That’s why we should all learn energy link healing...Wake Up the Healer in You DVD Workshop

Energize your water

Interested in an experiment you can do? Take two glasses of water. Take one glass and using both hands, simply hold it in your hands and run energy into it for a few minutes or longer.

Now do the taste test. Or perhaps ask someone else to do the test for you without indicating which glass you charged. Water changes its taste when you run energy into it. See if the other person can detect a difference in taste and ask them to describe the difference.

I’ve heard people describe it as “smoother” “softer” “better tasting” or even ” less chlorine taste” “less metallic”, etc.

Imagine being able to drink your energy? Now there is a real “energy” drink for you!
